i bought some hubs off e-bay, they were off the new ds and i was suprised at the weight difference. has anyone turned down the newer hubs? it looked like over a pound of weight savings per hub.

I had heard they were lighter but didn't know if they were lighter that cut down older hubs. Did they fit right?

well i haven't put them on, so i hope they fit fine, seems i heard they do. looks like a two pound savings in the rotating mass area. after years of little gain with some engine mods thought i'd share this easy change, combined with the chain mod, to 520, it looks like a 5 lb savings for the older machines.
