ds 450 dyno map

Max,
I saw your Renegade had some stuff in your signature, about the same additions as my Outlaw. I just bought the Outlaw 525 IRS this week and have very limited time on the seat. I do know it killed my friends YFZ450 and it feels at least as fast as my RWR DS. I know enough about motors and thrust to weight ratios to assume you 734 at around 380lbs will beat a 510 cc at 395lbs.

Stir,i'm at Coos Bay Or.I can ride the dunes as much as i like.Thats why I have two quads, if I start getting burned out on one then I ride the other one for awhile.</end quote></div>
If you guys make it up this way give me a holler and I will see if I can meet up with you guys and give you a guided tour of the dunes here at cs/bay, first time out it can be a little confusing about which way to go. Theres lots of good riding here for everybody. The hills arent to steep, the best one is called waterboard and there is trails to ride also, slides or fingers to go down, some of them can be a challenge, caution should prevail. To go from one end to the other can take about 3 hrs if you do some playing around. At spinreel there is an atv rental that has sodas and such if they are open.</end quote></div>
I will take you up on that, I have a IMS tank so can do a pretty long ride.

If you want to compare motor dyno run, you should compare the DS 450 with the KTM 450 and not with the 525. In 4-stroke, cc = hp.
I dont know if the YFZ is faster than the KFX but stock for stock, the DS 450 is faster than the Kawi on a drag race. I was on the KFX (160 pounds) and my friend on the DS.(about 200) Make your choice 5 times in a row.

So your saying the bigger the engine the more power?
I used the 525 numbers as it is highly regarded engine and gives a good idea of how the dyno is reading.
