how will a stock predator against a stock ds650 do in a race bottom end bottom end and top end all around on tar and gravel everywhere

I am by no means a drag racer but I had a predator and my husband has a DS. He would always beat me. But it was always very close until he put more mods than I had. It is a good race. I think stock for stock it is a very close call.IMHO.

The preds actually have a solid top end for only a 500, but if the drivers utilize all the machines have then the DS takes it, the pred vs the yfz450 is a better race, real close there!

 

How does the pred handle in a motocross situation?

 

In my experience my when my ds was stock (so long ago I hardly remember) my buddy could out run me top end only. The predators are geared highand have some pretty good top speed.

 

The Predator I assume is the Polaris, that is interesting that the 500 runs clost to the 650. I wonder what the weight difference is.
I am hearing that the ds450 has almost the same hp as the ds650 only a couple less.

 

Actually the DS450 has more horses than the DS650 stock for stock. Kind of crazy but it gives us all an idea how fast that thing must be.

 

Actually, the DS450 is 45hp stock and the 07 DS650 was 48hp stock. But the weight is near 150lbs heavier. But the 450 is still very impressive for a 450.
