Looking for a plow for my outlander 650 max! I am looking at 60" moose or cycle country, and leaning towards the cycle country only because i believe i can add a power angling system to it some day, and it is a little cheaper for me. What has anybody else using??
Thanks
Rob

My father in law has one from BRP on his Outlander, it's a 60in and works good. But personally I would go with a Moose cause I've seen more of em around. IMO

I have a Cycle Country plow on my old Polaris. It is branded Polaris but I believe it is made by Cycle Country. It works great and I've really given it a work out. Not only have I used it for snow but I've done a lot of gravel work with it grading and spreading the gravel around on my driveway.

I'm sure they do them differently now but the mounting system is a bit of a pain. On mine you have to crawl around on the floor and try to line up holes o mount the arms on the plow to the plow mount that you permanently attach to the ATV. You have to get an ear on the plow into a slot on the ATV and line up a hole to put a pin through. It's not complicated or anything just annoying to fiddle with and you have to crawl around on the floor to do it. It does come off easier as you just yank the pins.

Me and my dad both have Cycle Country 60" plows his is standard mine has the sides and the top flap to prevent snow from coming over it makes a world of difference. I have used mine on my eiger and my dad uses his with his BF750 and Outy800 and they have worked great thus far. Also cycle country has a quick disconnect available I found the info over on ATVPT http://atvpt.proboards60.com/i...play&thread=1191007035

Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't been on any ATV sites in a few months!!! I am looking into a Moose Rapid Mount System available at my Can-Am dealer. It's a 50" plow, frame, installed for about $450. However, doing some research, my 650 Outlander Max XT is 48" wide. The 50" plow blade when fully angled only clears a path 44 1/2" wide. The 60" plow blade when fully angled clears a path 53 1/2" wide. I am looking at the 55" plow blade because it should clear a path 49" wide (just wider than my tires). The part number for the Moose 55" blade is 4501-0068 and sells for about $175. I just don't know how the 60" blade will handle--is it TOO big????

You wouldn't have any problem at all with a 60" plow. I have an 800, but it doesn't even break a sweat with my brp plow.

I have the right side handle to change the plow angle, it's worth it unless you're plowing something big like a parking area. Then you don't have to change the angle very much.

Good afternoon Kawiyowee,
Long time, no chat!!!
What do you mean by, "I have the right side handle to change the plow angle"? I have looked at the Moose website and do not see any kind of handle on the plow blade or frame. Could you please explain or send me some photos? Thank you very much.

Hello 650MaxDaddy!

Man, I haven't called anybody daddy in a long time! lol

I haven't used the plow yet this season, I have a 8.5 hp Sears snow thrower for the kind of 1"-2" snows we been getting.

Going to stick the plow on next week though, I'll take a picture of it by itself, then mounted for you.
