Has anyone done anything to make their Renegade 800's faster. Ron Woods a big Rotax engine guy, sells a stage 1 kit for $1,400.00. Has anyone tried it? If so, did it make any improvement?, Did it give you more bottom-end power??

Just wondering what's out there.

Hi JT824Megacab, get a SkiDoo Mach Z 1000 sdi throttle body, hot cams, hi flow exhaust, hi flow intake, clutch work and electronic. (80+ hp) Not bad!!! But I dont know if this is better than Ron Wood kit.

 

The Ron-Woods stage 1 kit (air intake, programmer, and full exhaust) is rated to give 14 hp. The quad stock is 64 hp so that would put me close to 80 hp as described in your set-up. I was hoping to find some that had a Renegade that did some mod to discuss what improvements they noticed.....But anyway it sounds like your quad screams....

 

The cost of R.W.kit to get 20 hp is over 2500. add nos for 300.and pick up the same hp.

 

Woods stage 2 gives you over 20HP [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But i hear its hard on belts

 

what did u do to make that throtle body work???
