HWY 160 goes out of Blue Diamond Road toward Pahrump then you cut off at Old Spanish Trail road to HWY 127 and come into Dumont from the north, I think those are the directions but I could be mistaken. I was told it was about the same travel time but without the big pull up out of Stateline into Baker. But like I said its been awhile since I heard about going that way and I could have the directions all goofed up[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

SLC, I know what you are talking about now. So does that mean you are coming through Vegas??? I am assuming that you are. You are more than welcome to stop by my house, shower... fill up water.... what ever you need.

As far as the route goes... depending on how big you are, that road may not work. I tow 40ft bumper pull triple axle toy box (40ft after the tongue) and it's WAY tough to go that way. The road sucks! When I'm towing smaller, it saves about 30 minutes. Other than that, I take 15 all the way there. VERY easy and VERY safe. There are a couple of turns that you have to be VERY careful with on the back route. VERY CAREFUL.

Again, I'll be going up on Friday before. If anyone is coming up and needs a place to park and shower... let me know.

Im really bummed about it! Did get over to Winchester this weekend. Weather was sunny and 60 Super nice! Hav'nt seen the sun in a while. Finally got to take the hauler out, first time is alway's an experience LOL! Your right about the distribution bars. Im on the hunt for some now and probably some air bags just for good measure. Felt more like a boat ride to the coast! Truck pulled great but the mileage sucked!

You guys have a great time and be careful. Bring home the wood!!!
