I have been looking at getting two atvs

over the last years now i feel ready to make the jump

I am thinking a 2008 can am 800 LTD i like the black and silver paint the mounted gps.

And a renede x

what are your guy's thought on both and the can am atvs i test rode the 800 max and 650 at a dealer around the lot
i got to say there fast have a lot of take off and seem to have a lot of power and me being 300+ i need some thing big and powefull

The only reason i can think of not going with the can ams is the price
the LTD seems to be a litte higher then honda yamaha and other makes

is it worth the extra 2 or 3 grand

 

Nice atvs but are over priced.Can AM does not do a real good job with customer support I have learned with owning one of their sleds.

 

i did some checking the outlander 800max is only about a grand or so more then the top of the line of otherbrand
now the LTd is about 2500 more but it has a intergrated gps and winch

 

right on there i am looking at buying the LTD and renagade x aswell i rode one down the street at a dealer to me the 650 even had more power then the 700s or so of other models.
I found a guy on ebay that has the LTD for 10.600
once you figure the winch which looks alot better from the factory and the gps which is no where to get wacked off it is worth the money

if it were me i'd just buy the max,add a winch myself, and get a hand held gps unit and have a bar mount for it, save 2k doing it that way.

 

500 bucks for a winch which matchs the winch on the LTD another 300 to 400 for the gps
And then you must worry about it brecking off from a limp

Then the alloy rims that come with it there anoth 500
plus if you hate the yellow red or green paint the black is worth the rest
not to even look at the better tires top of the line seat and mudgaurds and bumbers
