yes i have it on mine and it rocks, make sure u get the twist grip, i put the (opptional) air filter on the carb but you can switch back to the air box in minutes. it puts out about 38% more power and no rev limiter gives u the extra go u need sometimes, the cdi advances the timing and the low end is way stronger, my wife has a raptor and mine runs circles around it, the RW pipe is also killer it sounds like a yzf426 if you've heard one. get the kit u won't be sorry. if u wan't pics give me your e-mail i'll send them to ya and get the alba gripperseat its a must but then i had to get the graphics to match hehe, renthals help i got em. cya

The woods stage 1 kit is a real nice package. After I installed mine, It started right up and runs great. Lot more power at low end. The rev limiter works great..I'm sure when you got on your DS. and got to the top end and it starts cutting out, it made you mad, well my friend that won't happen any more. As Jimmie said get the twist throttle, I used the thumb throttle and after about an hour of riding, I could't use my thumb for a week it hurt so bad. With the new carb, it requires more force to operate the throttle.

There is a spring inside the stock thumb throttle that can be disconnected to make the throttle a little easier. Also I heard Ron Wood is making a softer spring for the big Mikuni.

If you like speed. Get the Stage II. It really rocks! In addition to the Stage I you get dome piston, high performance camshafts, and dual valve springs. I had my head ported and it will run 10000 RPM, no problem. It roars at 10000 RPM. My friend just bought a Raptor a he truelly thinks he can beat me!! I asked him what drugs he was on!! ha ha! I told him he needs to ride mine and then put his money where his mouth is!
