how do you stop the e-mail notification from a thread? HELP!!

" my forums tab"


and unsubscribe there.

For some reason the moderators of this forum believe its a good idea to enable notifications by default everytime you post. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] This is the only forum I have ever been to that does this... Many complained about it several months back but it didn't seem to change things.

I'm going to go unsubscribe to this thread now.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

The moderators have no control over that or this killer cat.

well, you can avoid the whole situation when you reply to a thread. take a look/see at the bottom left of the reply box, there's a "button" that says "Reply to Topic" and then under that there's a box, and next to that it says "Subscribe to this topic." well, if you uncheck the box, you don't have to worry about stupid reminders about threads you're not that interested in and will see when you come back the next time anyway. i've saved a few threads for info and time purposes
