Default renegade 800

just bought a renegade 800 and its efi will it hurt just to add a slip on hmf, my dealer told me to just disconnect the batt while doin so .........help

Anytime you increase the flow you will need to add a fuel controller, it will run lean,and i'm sure that is just the first thing your going to do. To get full benefit from the slipon you also need to add a good aifilter and maybe mod your airbox lid to really the the most out of her.If your worried about a short when your working on it, it would be best to disconnect the batt.

was told to disconnect the batt, so that when its hooked back up the efi adjust itself to the new pipe

the renegade has plenty of power just wanted the pipe to add a little sound its sounds like my bf650
