My Wifes is a 07 500 Outlander she has 1200 miles on it, she's on it all the time. It runs flaw less. No problems, she loves it. Mine is a 650 900 miles, no trouble.
The air filters are oil soaked for better filtering.

well if your front suspension is worn out already, then that must be a factory defect, or you just flat out killed it.... i would have that taken care of under the warranty of the machine.. I'm assuming this is an 08 model... for the belt, i did notice on my renegade that the intake or exhaust tube is fairly low, and probably could suck water in, but ive driven it in some deep water, and have had no problems as of now, so i don't know... maybe check your covers seal? otherwise i have read about some stealth snorkels that you might wanna try... but it is all up to you...
