I can likley fix it. I have fixed hundreds if the circut board is not damaged from putting in a larger fuse. I do not recommend trying to open it yourself. It is complex, several diferent components fail and the circut board is easily damaged .

I bought a Traxter 2004 Max XT, and after checking when I plug the 20 amp grid fuse into the MPEM.When I plug it out and reinstall a new 20 amp fuse it does not burn out, so my MPEM has a Diode problem. I would like to know where the second Diode is located.'Thank you for all the information I changed the one to the right of the 2 big wire connections. Thanks |

J'ai corrigé 6 ou 7 des MPEM pour les gens. Le problème survient après une batterie déchargée et un saut du système. Une ou plusieurs diodes de conditionnement d’énergie sautent et court-circuitent. Les seuls MPEM que j'ai pu réparer sont ceux qui sont de grands carrés avec deux prises sur la face. Je les ouvre, teste les composants, remplace les diodes défectueuses, puis signale l'électronique. Je n'utilise pas de diluants car cela endommage les condensateurs. Je sais exactement où couper et tester. je suis interessé a faire réparer mon MPEM, qui etait sur un Bombardier Traxter XT 2004. Quand il est branché le fusible 20 amp saute , quand je le debranche le fusible ne saute pas, donc il est defectueux, Si vous voulez me le reparer je pourrais vous le poster.
