Default Alba Exhaust

I got a '01 DS 650 that i love. I bought it a few years back and it has an alba racing pipe on it. I think it sounds great, but is sometimes a little loud. I know that alba sells a suppression kit for them that makes them 95 db or so. How loud would that be compared to stock? Has anyone had any experience with this kit? Or is their a quieter exhaust slip-on i can get? Thanks Everyone

There are quieter out there.

95db is quite a bit quieter than the stock alba pipe for sure I am not sure how loud it is I have one on my 00' also and it is loud and definitely wouldn't pass any sound checks if I had to have one. But if I had too I would just buy the suppression kit. But that is my personal opinion. From my experience with this pipe anyway.

Yea, the only problem is i don't have a stock pipe. SO the alternative here is either another slip on or the suppressor kit. Has anyone used the kit?

No, i think mine is the old style, but i have six allen's in the end cap. I was also told that this style is designed to also act as a spark arrestor. Could that be true??
