Default Oil leak on rear diff of 08 Renegade x?

I have an 08 Renegade X and noticed this a while ago. Can some of you fellow renegade owners look at yours and tell me whether you have the same smudge/leak.

Do you think it is an issue or is this normal gunk and crap buildup?

It does not leak onto the ground if left over night.

Anyone have a similiar leak on theres, I,m planning an ATV get away soon and dont want to take it to the dealership unless absolutely neccessary because I,m sure I wont get it back in time for my trip.

Any thought or help would be greatly appreciated

I've also seen this on other brands of 4x4 quads. It's really not an issue unless you are seeing puddles under the quad after riding. What happens is that dirt and grime get into the seal on the rear diff. and causes it to leak however slightly. You could replace the seal but it will be back eventually. I personally wouldn't worry about it, just keep up on the recommended maintenance on the rear diff. oil changes. Hope this helps. Cheers!
