Just a couple of questions....... (2003 DS650 BAJA)

Just wondering what the frame was made of? thinking of rhino lining it. Has anyone done this before?

If you go fenderless in the front are you gonna eat mud like crazy?

Want to run the LTE duals,
Is running a K&N right off the carb ok? I ride 75% trail 25% gravel pits.
(trails do get to be very wet and muddy at certain times of the year)

Steel frame and rhino lining would be cool and unique.

Yes you will eat a lot of mud, don't take your fenders off. Only do that for Dunes

And don't run LTE duals, again only good for a dune machine as a direct mount filter will only suck in water and junk when you ride wet and muddy trails.

Hope that helps!
