Default big bore for ds 650

I have had my 730 kit installed for a couple of years now and would never go back - I love the torque and power. Nothing better and kicking *** on all those little 450's at Choke Cherry and the look on thier face when the big yellow scholl bus passes them.

It is not a cheap venture by any means, save you dollar and do it a set at a time. Try to have you carb, exhaust, rev box done then go for the big bore. I waited a year after the big bore (to save more cash) before I had the head ported.

Are you planning on doing the work yourself - if not consider the labour charges as well.

Hope this helps

You would be real suprised what can be done stock bore/stroke with the right components. You can get high 60's in the hp range, with just a little head work and the right carb/pipe. or get the 725 HYTECH from THEBOM

Exactly, my old DS would haul the mail and I got accused several times of either big bore or NOS. People just couldn't believe that a stockbore DS was runing that good.
