i just bought 2 ds 650's one is a 2000 the othe an 03 baja my prob is that the 03 is way slower then the 00 and recently oil started spiting out of a vent hose coming off the right side of the crank case im woundering if any one will help my best guess is the rings are shot but im not sure

 

You're right, rings are shot. Same thing happened to me last year, have the cylinder re nikasil'd, only costs like $100 and well worth it.

 

well its not the ring its the 2 dime size holes in the top of the piston looks like something was left in the cylinder and smashed in between the head and piston until in went through the piston must of happened at the dunes so i need to rebuild whole top end if anyone has some spare ds650 parts for cheap let me know
