Default Visko-Lock Question

How many wheel turns does it take on an 09 or older Outlander to lock up the 4th wheel ? Also once the 4th wheel is locked up and I let off the gas and then give it gas again, do I lose the fully-lockedness? I know that the 2010s are a near instant lock, just wondering about the older ones. Thanks.

It's not really how many turns of the free wheel, it has to do with how quickly the pressure within the system builds. You'll hear people say it takes 3 seconds, 5 seconds, or whatever but the faster the wheelspin, the faster the lockup.

And yes, if you let off the throttle you will loose the lockup.
