I don't know who will be there first, and I know there are hardcore hillshooters in the group, but I'm with you on camping right by that saddle where you drop down into the dunes outback. Whoever gets there first should let us know where to look so we can get everyone together. We were spread out some last time.
Either way I'm going to ride the wheels off of it.

You'll probably be first Craig. Maybe Curtis can elaborate a little bit on the exact location. I was riding with Ray last time so I don't recall the spot right off the top of my head. Maybe when I pull in I'll recognize it. Is there a good pic on Duneguide to get a better idea?
I'll be in a white 01 F-350 Crew Cab 4X4 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel. Towing a 28ft Thor Wanderer Wagon. The hauler is more than likely white too!
Guess whoever gets there first needs to park a DS out front... Who's got that big banner?

I thought Jed had the banner, or did the Oregon group take it home?
Vic, you can fill up water at the pay station/visitors center when you arrive, can't help you with the Walmart, I never shop there
When arriving at the mountain you pass Vendor row (probably wont be any vendors there, on the left or west side of the road) take your first left turn heading southeast, then park off to the left as soon as it opens up and the road turns southwest.
Give me a call and I can give you better directions, I PM'd ya my number.
I will be the Red 03 Dodge 4dr with the Blue and Black Sandstorm trailer.(I'll post a pic ion my garage)

There USED to be an East Coast DS Days. Do a search on here and you will find some old threads on it. I believe Michigan is where it was held a time or two.

Yes, everyone meet and park at the usual spot. Just like Nate said, the very first left turn as you're heading to the Mountain, then pull off in the first immediate clearing to the left.
