i had a shoot out with my friend today, me on my ds 250 witch i purchased from a dealer new for 2100 (07 leftover, year is wrong on my signiture) and my friend on his 250 ex witch he payed about 3 grand for new . the ds felt slow and i was sure that the ds would be shamed, turns out that the ds is faster in almost every aspect off the line , top speed, hill climbs, jumps were about the same. my question is if the ds is faster than the 250 ex then why isnt the ds a major 250 class competitor, me and my friend are both experienced riders who have toys much more powerful then our 250s so it wasnt because of a bad driver, anyone know some mods to make the ds faster, i thought i wouldnt like it, and only bought it because of the amazing price but its as fun as an automatic sport quad can be, and the title says it has 20 horsepower witch is kind of impressive for a small machine
