raptor trade

ok heres the deal. i have recently purchased a raptor. i wasnt content with its handling and power so i stuck 2000 in to it on mods. axle pipe tires etc....
the question.
do you ds guys think that there could be a chance that after i put the rest of my parts on and dont like it that i might trade for a ds even up? i mean it should be worth it after considering added mods to it. other question is the ds realy that good? will it take massive jumps without bottoming and take fast sweeping corners with out 2 wheeling? if it is maybe i ll have to trade some one or sell my raptor. please no bashing looking for only serious replys please. thanks.

I don't know about trade ins but I love my DS for the reasons you said. I just put on a Big Gun and I'm loving my new found power. Waiting for my shippment of a 37 tooth sprocket, should be here this week. I'm a 230lb. dude that hasn't hit the limits on the shocks yet. The DS is a well made unit that has done me proud so far. Good luck with your decision.

Realisticaly I think you would be more happy with a DS. If you are into jumping and riding hard and fast than the DS is what you want. 12 inches of shock travel is for jumping. The only weak spot for the DS in my opinion is the upper a-arms. Ive seen them get bent jumping. Thats why I have the timmy boy`s. New shocks would be nice on the front.
Lets face it no matter what you do after market to either quad your going to push the limits no matter what.
What do you want, reliability or a name? I think Bombardier has proven its self in a couple of huge races here lately. In the Baja 2000 the only mods were a pipe, front shocks, and a re-built rear shock.
OK so the raptor would be better in the TIGHT woods. How often do you ride in the TIGHT woods?
