Have a 07 DS-650X and I’m thinking about getting a Bug Gun CDI and wondering if pushing the RPS in the 8700 range or higher will run the risk of blowing up my quad and is it worth the $125.00 for a claimed 3-HP gain. Any feed back would help. Thanks, DuneKrew

 

No, it will not hurt that motor revving it that high. I put a Vortex on mine and it's limit was at 9500, which it never saw.

 

Ya i looked at that Vortex but it was like $495.00 Nice CDI but a little to high for my check book. Thanks for the feedback
