need some help

Over the weekend I noticed that one of my spark plugs was dead, I had lost a fair amount of power and as I was replacing my plug I noticed that the plug that is harder to reach (inside plug) seems to fire about 70% more of the fuel per stroke than the plug towards the outside. I believe both plugs fire at the same rate, so positioning in the chamber head is the only other explanation I have been able to come up with. My question to other DS owners is, is this normal?
I have replaced both plugs and swapped the plug wires back and forth and the inside plug consistently fire more. The rpms drop slightly when I disconnect the lead to the outside plug but drop dramatically when I disconnnect the lead to the inside plug. If someone out there would try disconnecting the leads one at a time and let me know your observations I would appreciate it.
