Will a 2002 DS 650 BAJA swing arm match up with a 2005 DS 650 BAJA X swing arm?

 

I just did this and you have to swap the pivot bushings, and to do it right you need to get a new caliper mount. Otherwise its a direct swap out.

 

so what the cost of doing it?

 

I'm thinking that the 05 will be an inch shorter, too..

 

It can be done, but why are you doing this? if it was about your last post about the bearings you dont need to change out a complete swingarm, i'll sell you a bearing carrier and save you the trouble! lol, unless you want the weight/length change with the diff caliper support and chain

 

A GR N69 and I are thinking about swapping swing arms. I have the 05 Baja x, with a 2" extended swing arm. I want to go back to stock length.

yo wreckr you should take this dude up on his offer i think we have got to change stuff to make it fit with him u can just swap them out!!!
