I'm replacing an engine in a 2005 rally. the blown engine has a 4 pin square connector for the magneto using 3 pins all wires are yellow. the new engine has a 3 pin round connector all wires are yellow. Can I assume that all wires have the same output, and any wire can be connected to any input on the rectifier. In other words can I randomly splice the old connector on the new harness
