Default Curious about my pipe

I bought my 05 DS650 Baja X used. The guy said he had the factory pipe rebuilt to perform like an aftermarket pipe. It seems to sound louder than stock, but I've never heard one stock before. This wasn't the deciding factor on me buying it or anything.

I'm wondering if I should just upgrade to an aftermarket pipe. Would it make a difference if the factory pipe has been rebuilt?

Do you have one big open hole in the end of the exhaust pipe or two small holes. If you have one big hole your not going to gain much from going to a aftermarket pipe besides quality, sounds, and looks the power wont be to much diff. The stock ds650 exhaust is very well designed its all strait through with no baffles or anything of that such like all the other manufacturers.

It's got the one holed exhaust cap. I like the sound. It's fairly loud. I was just curious about the power possibilities. Now I know it's good enough as is. Thanks!
