big gun rev box 2006 2007? ds650x

Default big gun rev box 2006 2007? ds650x

I have a 07 ds650x looking to buy a big gun rev box.i have only been able to find one for a 06 ds650.will this work for my bike as well?

Yes 02 to 07 model years all used the same plug. Prior to 02 they used a different plug

Now, if you don't top out in 5th, drop your front sprocket by a tooth (or two if you are heavy like me :-) for even more acceleration!

so if i wanna drop one tooth is that the 15 tooth sprocket?

Yep, you got it. Even with a 14t, I have not topped out in 5th.

ok i ordered the 15 tooth.just wondering how hard it is to put on?is it something i have to get a mechanic to do?or can i do it myself?i do have some tool skills.just wondering where is the chain adjuster and how tight should the chain be?please help
