Default Ron Woods Stage 2 kit worth the money?

Has anyone installed a Ron Woods Stage 2 kit to their DS? Is it worth the price?

Thanks.

Nope if ya want to do a cheap but becent running mild build go with web 109 cams, CP 12.5:1 piston, ported intake, TM45 or TM48 carb, and a RWR pug exhaust. That is just a mild stockbore build but it will be a different and strong bike without breaking the bank.

It's depends on WHO'S doing your build and tuning!!!

I've had several fast one but it does no good to just bolt it on and not tune it.

Call CT racing either way your going to get hit with around a min of $1800 to $4000 or more. I have Ron woods stage 3 with all up grades. It's ok, but I wish I would have called OMH and had a 755 heads added. I'm into mine around $5000 I dynoed at 61.5 hp, and then I found out about RWR Bigger Valves. I could have been 75 to 80 horses. take your time, and when it's time to add power you will have a better idea at it.
(Make your next move, you best move). Good luck

I sure love my RWR stage II, and I've been loving it for about 8 years now. You can pick your compression, all the way up to 14:1, keeping in mind anything over 11.5 will require packing race fuel everywhere you go. Also pick your cam choice, they have several grinds, just depends on what exactly you are looking for.

My tm45 carb, A1/A2 cams, CP 14:1 piston, and dual valve springs with ti retainers and shim under bucket converion are all 100% worth while. The only part of the RWR kit I actually do not run is the exhaust, because I need stainless and aluminum for my type of riding - the ceramic coated steel pipes don't weather all that well for long term winter riding when things get sloppy.

Far as CDI's go, I been running the RWR cdi for 9 years, and not having a rev limiter has never been an issue. With the cams and spring I run, I routinely rev to 9K, and have been for over 8 years. The only wrenches ever turned on my motor were by choice to do the mods I have done, and I've never had a failure or breakdown of any kind, over a thousand hours of operation.

Ask anybody who knows me out at the dunes, plenty of them on this forum, and they can attest to my claims of trouble free operation over the past 9 years with this awesome machine and quality aftermarket parts!

THEBOM is an awesome tuner and RWR dealer to boot.
