DS650 or Raptor with +2A-arms and +2 axle, How much for the DS 650?

Anybody with any sense at all would know the raptor needs $3000 in mods just to keep from tipping over. Of course ya can't reason with a raptor owner they'll never have intelligent conversation they just argue just for the sake of argueing and make up things as they go along

Fourlix, get the DS650!Why buy something & then put a bunch more money in it & it still won't be the "New King".I can understand wanting to "FIX-UP" the raptor it needs it.If you going spend big bucks on aftermarket parts START with an R.These two machines are the best.I have both. Can't decide which one I like more.

Guys I was just making a joke, please lets not start this again. The raptor is a great quad and I am always proud to have them in my camp. The reason there arent many aftermarket parts for the DS is supply and demand. There are way more Raptors than Bombardiers, so the aftermarket will sell many more pipes etc.Once again in the words of Rodney King[cant we all just get along]?

Kellys300ex,
I sure hope you're not referring to me. If so, where have you been. In a number of posts, I've pointed out that the DS is a great quad if you can handle the width where you ride.
It sounds like you really have a problem with someone who owns a Raptor, but not all of us are unable to reason or carry on an adult conversation.
You're letting your emotions get the best of you when you state, "Anybody with any sense at all would know the raptor needs $3000 in mods just to keep from tipping over."
I'll be the first to say that, from the factory the Raptor isn't as stable as some quads being sold and that the DS should be about the most stable. The front is just as wide as a 400ex, it's the narrow rear that causes the problem. However, a $300 axle takes care of that. That's not any more than a rev box for the DS is it?
I guess it's only natural to compare the two machines, but really they are designed for different kinds of riding. The DS is designed for open riding and desert type terrain. The Raptor is basically a woods bike from the factory.
Both will do things better than the other.

You know guys, it's like this... If you could buy the biggest, baddest and the best quad, car etc. Just because of the fact that we are men, means that we're gonna wanna make it go faster. It's just in us naturally. I have a Raptor, if I was to buy the DS, or any other quad, of course I'd do everything in my budget and power to beef it up, not because it needs it, it's just because it's FUN!!!!!!!!
