Yep, 22's in the rear and 23's in the front minimum. I used to run 20" rears and 22's were a night and day difference.

 

BUT 22s ARE FOR DRAG RACING CORRECT? WHAT IF I JUST WANNA RIDE THE DUNES?WILL MY 20s WORK?NOT REALLY LOOKING TO RACE.

 

22s are better everywhere. Especially just duning. Way easier to take off from a stop and keep from digging in. More forgiving. Plus a little better ground clearance.

ok im about to order the 22s for a 10 inch rim.will this fit fine or should i buy the 22s for my 8 inch rims?i have both 8 and 10 inch rims.wich ones will be better?just worried the 22x11x10 will hit the heel guards when it bottoms out.anyone have 22x11x10 on your ds?

 

Both should be about the same diameter, the 10 vs 8 is just the diameter of the rim, so both should fit about the same.

I have 22" Skat Trac Extreams - they rub a little on full compression, but not really that bad.

22" rears are way better for everything on the DS.

 

Yep, just like everyone has already said. 23 up front 22 in the rear, and down a tooth on the front sprocket. Especially for duning the 20 rears will have you spending alot of time heaving on the grab bar to get the azz end unstuck out of the sand. 22' Sand Stars with 4psi will work wonders for keeping you on top of the sand.

Sell the 20's to someone with a Yamaha, plenty of those guys around.
