Default Looking to buy, diff between yrs (ds650)

Hey guys, new here. Be gentle eh

Im in the market for a ds650 03-07yrs, finding a deal here in Canada is a chore but what or where can I find the differences between model years?

Ive got a line on an 2004 (within driving distance)he wants $4000cdn, ive got him to $3000 and have made a final offer of $2800....It looks decent shape, he says low hrs but isnt sure he's 2nd owner and its all stock.

Ive found 06/07s in the U.S for same prices...
Would I be good with a 2004?

Thanks for the help!
Clayton.

The o4 years and up I believe had all the lighter weight stuff on them. The 04 itself had the aluminum a-arms. I dont think any other year got them. Kinda hard to come buy. The price you offered for the quad seems reasonable to me...

04 was a good year. Mine is a beast. Very well built. I bought mine for $2500 almost 3 years ago but only because the guy had a brand new KFX450 and needed to pay off the DS. KBB retail value is $2700. Doesn't list it as an X either. It is easily worth $3000. Once you get one you will not look back.

If you guys had to pick 1 would you go w the ds 650 or renegade 800.Im looking into getting a newer quad.I like sport quads but having a 2wd polaris I ended up sticking it in the mud at Caw and had to get towed out 2 times.THeres a 07 gade for 5300 by me, is this a decent deal it only has not even 600 miles on it?
