Hey, i have a few old video's on You Tube of exhausts - HMF, Ron Wood, and Big Gun Evo X on the EFI Baja i had. Check them out - YouTube - HMF slip on
I liked the HMF the best, all low end, only a slip on, not to expensive.
The Ron Wood full system i had was nice, very snappy thro the whole power curve, L O U D! but i didnt like the look/style of it, and it hit the swingarm if you compressed the shock all the way.
The Big Gun was a nice pipe, very sleek muffler, sounded great, power was good.
I had a Trinity full system, I loved the design of that pipe, was the best looking and most unique sounding i've ever had or seen on a DS, but the power was spotty.
I had an FMF years ago, my first exhaust slip on for my DS, hated it.
Good luck to ya!

for the end cap could you just cut the 2 little pipes out to make one big one (using the stock end cap)?

There's a little more to it than that, but sure, you could just disconnect the mid pipe at the headers and run it like that if you wanted to. Or maybe even just take off the end cap, remove the packing and the baffle and run it like that. But all of that stuff is there for a reason. The stock end cap has two tubes that run down inside of the baffle along with the screen that makes it USFS approved.
Many many hours went in to R&D for HPR to come up with the endcap that is available. It's functional and it's appealing to the eye.
If you want to take a sawsall to yours by all means knock yourself out.

dunerider 650 are you just saying that or you have dyno'd proof or some other type or REAL testing against other slip ons...

some people buy something and love it and then promote it because they boughtit not because its been tested...not doubting you just wondering

last time they did testing on slip ons the hmf was the best hands down...not sure if i missed something...can you please educate me on this
