hey guys the old man has a problem with his 08 800 max xt.we went riding on the weekend and it was pouring plus right before we got to the truck there was a shallow river crossing and he hit it a couple of times with speed and everything was great.keep in mind we snorkled the cvt intake and air intake cause he was always getting the belt and air filter wet.so here is the problem after we loaded on the trailer ans turned it off it was making a whinning noise from the from.we didnt think nothing of it at the time.2 hr drive home and went to unload off of the trailer started it up and it was reving up and down and doing all kinds of weird stuff.pulled it to the shop and turned it off and the digatal display wouldnt shut off it was flickering and communication error was going across the display.so we thought no big deal something was wet.so today which is 4 days later we tried again and same thing except it will start right up and run fine but the display still does the same thing.took all plugs apart dried then out dieletric greased everything and no change.so my ? is antbody have any problem like this.sorry for the story but it only has 500 kms on it.
