This stuff looks gray, but it's made for mufflers.I believe It contains sillacate,so it can take the high heat! Good luck.....

The stock head pipe does not even come close to fitting the Graydon. I am so mad at Graydon! They should only have made a slip on instead of charging $400 for a royal pain in he a##.

clif my stock header and Graydon tail section fit just great but I have a 2000 DS650. If Bombardier change the header between the two model years Graydon Proline need this info so they make adjustments.

According to the parts catalog, the header didn't change, but the rear subframe did which could have changed bolt locations.

The connections arenot the same. The stock header is way smaller then the Graydon.when I put them together, theirs a big gap between the two pipes.CALDS650,is this how yours went together? The two Graydons have a tight fit. Also I tried to see how it would line up together, and maybe I am wrong but it was pretty clear that it was not going to work. The stock header was higher then the Graydon.

clif I think I see where we are on different pages. When I say stock header I mean all the way back to where the three springs are. That is the two pipes coming out the head into the two into one collector with heat shield and back to the springs. Sorry for the confusion.

still have not got my tail section back from graydon, called and they said it was out getting the ceramic coating done probably another week.e-mailed them and gave them a piece of my mind(ok that probably added 3 weeks before I get my pipe back oh well)For the time being I put the stock pipe back on,and modified the tip to get a little better flow, sounds good but feels like the jetting is a little off now.
