Just put my top end back together and now it wont turn over. The starter turns when its out of the motor, but when its in the motor it doesnt turn, it just squeals back by the battery. I can turn the motor over with my hands at the flywheel, because I had the clutch cover off to put my clutch in, and I turned it over to find top dead center. what gives

Your battery may be too low to crank the engine, try charging it and see what happens.
