I'm not sure if it has two batteries one for the starter and one just for a regular battery

I've moved this to the Can Am section where you should get more answers.

You should only have one battery. Do you get any clicking noise when you try to use the starter? First thing I'd do is check the battery.

Also, getting a service manual would be a great thing too. Don't confuse this with an owners manual. Huge difference in the two.

Yes. If you get 11-13 volts, you'll have to start checking wires. Not familiar with the wiring on the smaller DS models, but the 250 I had for my wife had a fuse right next to the battery. If it's blown, no power to anything.

Well I was looking at my battery and there's a wire right from the positive and it goes to nothing and I can't find anything that it would go to and I'm pretty sure my battery is only a 12v
