Default Need Help!

I got a 2013 can am renegade 1000. My friend has an 800 2013 outlander. When I first got my bike it was stock with 30" mudlights and when we raced he would jump out on me but I would pass him up around 30mph.

Now I have snorkeled my bike, power commander (professional tuned), kn filter, STM primary and secondary pullies, two brother exhaust...its sitting on 29.5" outlaw2's. (14") msa beadlock rims.

his bike has qsc primary pulley and looney tunes exhaust, but he sitting on 28" muddzilla (14") msa 20.

We raced one time, in two wheel drive. I had mine in high and he was in low We took off and I had him by atleast a bike length but when we got to 20-25mph he shot by me.

I know my tires are heavy as hell and we should have locked up again in the same gear but I figured if I where low I would have started out stronger but doesnt the power fade away top end? The way he slug pass me was crazy. This guy is sneaky. When we were staging he was going back and forth like he was trying to engage something...Nitrous i don't know...but I need to whip his a$$ i guess run my stock tires and call his *** out again!

I'm not much up on modding a quad.

Stock, most Outlanders will wind out around 30 or so.

Both quads are powerful and fast. No matter what anyone does, there will always be someone faster or quicker. Putting bigger tires on any quad will slow it down. My advice, enjoy the ride. You have one of the fastest 4x4 quads ever built.

Look to the clutch... I think you need to change the weights to get it going. Check out MechMike's u-tube videos. He will have a lot of good data for you. He Mods machines for a living, bigger tires always require clutch mods.
