I will be receiving my FMF Powercore IV and KN Power Kit today.(hopefully) I need to get it jetted right the first time. Itmake a difference between my carb-mount and in the airbox KN for jets. Thanks

I hate to say it, but getting jetting right is a trial and error operation. If you expect someone to be able to tell you what jets to use and need to get it right the first time, you might have a hard time getting that info. I am pretty good at jetting, but would not go out on a limb to tell you it's going to be right the first time. There are also other factors that need to be taken into account such as the altitude you live at and climate. I wish you good luck.

knutz,
I have to agree. You, dskurt & myself are running different main jet most likely. Talking about jetting, I need to drop down one or two sizes for the summer. Noticed it backfiring last weekend on throttle down. After removing the air box cover lid, it didn't bang so loud. Rich, rich, rich.... leaner out alittle for mo power.
