I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR HOURS AND CANT FIND THE ANSWER. I JUST BOUGHT A 2012 OUTLANDER 1000. I want to run 28" tires. looking at swamp lites or maxxis zilla. swaplites would be 28x10x12 and zillas would be 28x12x12 on all four cornores. . are the zillas smaller than there stated size and are the swamp lites bigger than there stated size. i got 2" spring spacers to help but do not want to rub. im leaning towards the zillas because theye are cheaper and have better reviews. imjst dont want to order tirs, get them mounted then realize imhave to order spacers or something to make them work. an help is appreciated

 

Zillas run a little short and Swamp Lites run pretty true to size. Do you ride in mud much? Just asking because if you do either of those tires will be really light and will spin way too easy on a 1000. Both are good tires, especially for the price. If you do more trail than mud the Swamp Lites are the better option.
