Good news.

 

Its a good strategic move. They realize that most of their customers are from the U.S., not Canada. It is a little comical that they said they picked Texas as it is centrally located. Last time I checked, Texas borders Mexico. Kansas City, Indianapolis, or St Louis would have been "centrally located" I guess they meant central as in east to west, not north to south. That aside, I think its a good move for U.S customers.

 

Not even centrally located for Texas. Wish they'd have picked the southern side of the DFW area. Might have applied to be a test dummy.

 

Not just location but favorable tax rates to lure businesses down here also. May have been similar to what Toyota did. It's growing so big up here in Collin county,home prices going up,congestion on the freeways,people moving into my rural area now and commuting. Don't know how long I'll still be able to see all the maize fields,cows and hear the coyotes at night..

 

They'll run out of room up that way soon enough, and south is the only way to go.

I have Joe Pool lake almost in the back yard, so they can't build too much more around us.

Coyotes do fine with urban sprawl. They're popping up in the cities around here now. Even into Boston. I see them every so often. Not so many cats running around because of it.

 

No worries about hearing coyotes. They are everywhere.

 

Yeah I guess,but I sure would miss the open fields and grazing cows though that surround me..It's just a matter of time before the old farmers(or their greedy kids) sell out to developers.
