Default 2010 Can Am Outlander

I have been looking for a used ATV and came across a 2010 CanAm 800XT with a broken rear prop shaft and belt for $3300.00 is this worth me pursuing I have not seen this machine just seen it posted for sale. I am mechanically inclined and could probably do this repair with some guidance. What say some of you Can Am enthusiast?

Good machine for the most part. Frame is on the weak side where the lower A-arms attach to the frame. We did a frame modification on my son's Renegade 500 he had and my previous Outlander Max 650 XTP. Just for peace of mind. It involves stuffing the inside of the spar box frame with something 1.25 x 3.75 inches to strengthen it. The 800 is a power house. Will leave a grin on your face. If nothing is wrong with the pulleys (clutches) a belt is less than $100 on eBay. Not sure how much it would cost for the prop shaft. Sounds like a decent price but I think you might be able to talk the person down a bit.
