114 octane? Do you realize that with your motor, you are actually losing power by running that fuel? I didn't believe it either untill the folks at Dynojet Research showed me first hand with my own quad that had just a pipe and jet kit. I lost around 2 HP all the way across the rev range. The problem is that 114 octane fuel actually burns slower than a lower octane. It is designed to burn slower to control detonation in the high compression motors it was designed for. Drop back to 92 octane as long as your still running stock compression and you will regain that bit of power and save a bunch of money. This may be the only case in high performance that saving money actually increases power!

hey Bomberds, I'm just up the street from you and basically have the same set up - I too have found that the recommended settings from dynojet are as good as I been able to find with all my trials.
180 main and 3rd from top on the needle. Also I have the air/fuel screw turned in slightly more than recommended ( 1/4) turn and in the 0- 1/4 throttle circuit it makes more torque and wheelies are even easier from a dead stop in 1st and 2nd

I have found that Big Gun jetting is dependent on if you have the quiet core insert or the race core. With the race core you may want to go up in size on the pilot jet. For sure I would buy the dynojet/k&n power kit with the richer jet needle and main jets. If you have a 2000 model you may want to upgrade to 2001 carb specs.
