Just got my 2001 ds650 today! The dealer I purchased from also had a 2001 demo with Ron Wood Stage 1 kit. Now I know what they mean about the rev limiter being too low. The Stage 1 ds was quicker, but to me the biggest difference was not hitting the limiter. You end up going through the gears too fast on stock ds to avoid hitting it. After a good break-in, The Ron Wood Stage 1 kit is what I'm leaning towards. Although I wouldn't count out the other kits, just want to hear more about them from people with experience with them.

The easiest way to put it is to say that the Team Pami #1 kit is comparable to the Woods stage 2. The Team Pami #2 is comparable to the Woods stage 3. And the Team Pami 760 kit is above that. To see exactly what is included with the Team Pami kits, check out there web site at www.team-pami.de. If you have any questions after that, feel free to e-mail me.
