Hi guys, i have a question. Which way do you go in jet sizes when the weather changes? When it was colder I installed my jet kit and went with the recommended 170 main. Now that it is warmer I've noticed that it seems like the jetting is off again. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, newdsowner.

As air heats up it expands and there are consequently fewer air molecules in any given space. Fewer air molecules = less oxygen-
therefore you'll need to lean your mixture out
or go down 1 or two sizes on the main, possibly raise your needle one notch (which actually lowers the needle) and turn the air fuel screw in a hair.
Look up some info on carb basics online if you are not terribly familiar with carb tunning.
Good luck

Hey NewDSowner, Fourlix here. Where is Edgewood?
I live near Silver City. We've got a great place to ride over here in the Burro Range of the Gila National Forest. There aren't too many DS riders in New Mexico, and it's a big damn state, but I thought I would invite you for a ride anyway.
