Here is a strange question from the uninitiated.

The stock CDI has 5 wires, Team Pami CDI has 4 wires, and Woods CDI has 6 wires????

I presume some of the wires may not do anything, but what does this mean?

Anyone actually know if this means anything? They all work, so maybe it really doesn't matter.

Sorry the cdi is above me. Anyway, what did you rejet your DS to when you put your series 2 muffler on. Mine is stock and I am about to install it. Peter said that if I leave the lid on and the stock air filter on I should leave it stock. Will it make a lot of difference to put a k&n air filter in it and rejet. Do you think I will have to rejet anyways. Sorry for the question. I read your site.

When I put on my K & N and white bros e series I rejeted to 185 for about 4500 ft of elivation. I would think that depending on the altitude you are at it should be about the same.

bowen,

Have not run the Series 2 pipe with the stock carb, so I don't know about jetting it. However, with the series 1 pipe, I went up 2 main jet sizes, and the DS was runnin pretty sweet.
