i called woods today about the heatshield stud braking out of the exhaust pipe and get this,the guy told me to ship it out to them,they would fix it and if it couldnt be fixed they would replace it.the thing is he didnt hesitate about offering to fix it or even ask me what happened to it,which is a good thing because i have no idea why it broke.ive flipped it backwards once and turned it over once but ive never, as far as i know,hit the exhaust with anything.thats why i was so supprised when the stud broke out of the headpipe.i had taken off for vacation this week just to ride and the bike broke on saturday before my vacation even started.so i call my dealer at home on sunday and explain the problem and tell him i need an exhaust system BAD and he tells me to meet him at his shop monday afternoon,hes closed on mondays.he not only hooks me up with a graydon complete exhaust he knocks off $55 because i bought the 1st exhaust from him.so i paid $395 for a new exhaust system which after i installed really rocks.i think it pulls harder than the woods.so the woods is for sale when i get the pipe fixed or replaced if anyone is interested.email me for price its less than 1/2 of the new price.the yellow factory heatshield is included.sorry about being soo long winded but i just had to share it with you guys and gals.
