Did any of you guys get the little Bombardier ad in the mail?
It's a little ad that compares the BAJA & Raptor. It says the Raptor is a lame lizard & no wonder they are extinct.
It's about time Bombardier starts to advertise like this. They were always low key before.

 

I second that! Hey, Andrew, what main jet/altitude are you running with your hmf slip on? I have been looking at that slip on myself.I ride at between 500 and 1500 ft down here in Texas.

 

I ride at about 790ft. The main is a 175 & the clip is on the 3rd position from the top (middle to be exact I think). This seemed about the best.

They used to have a cool add a while ago. I forget what it said but it was aimed at the Raptor

 

I'm wondering why having Bom send you something re-affirming your belief that the Raptor sucks impresses you so much?

It was just an observation. I and most other DS owner's wouldn't want to start bashing the raptor just because of some marketing.It's ok for even Bombardier, to strut their stuff occasionally!The raptor is a good machine, it's just not for me and my style of riding.

My point was that Yamaha hyped the Raptor in it's ads, yet Bombardier never really came out and said "We're the man" until now. I just think it's nice to see them advertise more aggressively.

I'm using the K&N Dynojet kit. The jets & needles are a tad different. You may need a 180 to my 175 or so, but with your choices you should be in the ballpark.

 

I never saw a yamaha ad that so much as mentioned a Bomber.
