Recently i was approached about my 4 Wheeler and commented on it. Which was no suprise since the DS is the best on the market. So after the oohs and awws the guy started running his mouth. Talking about how he has something that could smoke my 4 Wheeler. So we set it up. It was a 1\4 mile drag on asphalt (which was stupid). When he pulled up he pulled out 200 dollars and said i race for money. When I saw what he was in I said ok lets go. He never had a chance. It was over quick and the money was in my account the next day. Here is the funniest thing about this race. When the guy showed up he was driving a LX Honda Civic. It was automatic. It was hilarious when he croosed the line and had to get out and hand over the money. What was even funnier is that i only had 2 dollars at my disposal. Sorry it was a bit long, just thought it would be funny to share. Also I am looking to get ahold of knutz on performance help.

Thanks

HONDA CIVIC? The guy obiviously had no brains to race you in that thing. Congrats on the victory. You should have offered him a rematch.

Congradulations, he should have known to bring at least a 6 cylinder. LOL

The same thing goes around here too. Honda builds some great cars, don't get me wrong, but some of these clowns think that if they buy a civic, rims, exhaust, and tint it, that it will be blazing fast. Sure, whatever dude. I'm not putting Hondas or racing down, just some people talk too much smack. I race my 87 Toyota MR2, but know enough to only race stuff with no more than 4 cylinders, and no less than 4 wheels.

Does the K&N stage 1 change or eliminate the rev limiter? The reason I'm wondering, is that if I had raced, I would have been up to 75 within just a few seconds, and then bouncing the rev limiter for the rest of the drag. Is this how your race went??

The K&N does not even tamper with the rev limiter. The only thing that the K&N kit has to do with the rev limiter is that it just makes you get there a bit quicker. And yes I did rev out really quickly but I made due with what i had and every time I felt the limiter coming into play I would let off for a bit then ride right back on up to the limiter. This is one reason I am trying to make arrangments with Knutz on some aftermarket goodies. Eventually I intend to kit the 703 kit but there are quite a few questions to ask.
