Hey Knutz

Hey Knutz, have you tried the 17" FMF Titanium-4 Muffler w/Titanium Mid section for the DS yet? I'm torn between the FMF & Big Gun. If anybody has any feedback about this exhaust set-up, let me know.

hey kodiako1 i dont that my opinon matters much but i do have a fmf laying in my stack of parts.along with a ron woods and a big gun .
we are currently testing the graydon and it appears to be the better pipe with the next closest being the big gun if you can keep it out of the way of your tires. but you must keep in mind my bike is heavliy modified. the graydon also sounds good too!

sorry there kodik its the ron woods that the tires hit the worst but with my bigger tires i also hit my big gun. it also requires a little sand paper vasoline and a hammer to install the ron woods pipes where you can stand back and toss the big gun at your bike and it mounts itself.ser.its easy to install

hey kodiak, i have a big gun pipe i love it. i think it is the loudest out there, but i have stock tires and mine does not hit and i love to jump.a friend of mine said that they were going to banned big gun pipes because of the sparkarester.he says the holes are to big in the screen.

say guys, word of advice, my friend RoostinOnYou has a big gun. loud and good pipe, but he is having problems with the rivets at the base of the rear section. they started rattling, then they started leaking. now it leakes out of the bottom of it. still running it, probably going to pull the rivets and put in hex heads or something of the sort. just a little fyi on our problemos with big gun. pipe comes with 6 month warranty from big gun, warranty ran out before we reliezed it. AZSAND,are you saying the Graydon gives you more power then the Woods pipe?
I have a Graydon on my DS now and a CT(same thing)on the Baja, but was seriously thinking about changing to Woods pipe on the DS because it would clear the dual carbs better(the Graydon is up tight to one carb)But if that the case then maybe I will keep the Graydon and just keep the pipe wrapped with that asbestos cloth to keep the heat off the carbs.

hey jeff my personel opnion is the graydon apears to be better thats quality and all. Im also haveing problems with keepin the packing in the ron woods @ ron woods they actualy told me to pack it with stainless dish washing pads go figure.you go in your wifes kitchen and take her dish washing pads and see what happens but as long as you can
keep the packing in its a good pipe i actualy think it will work for less modified bikes than ours.
