fuse problem

has anyone had a fuse blow on our ds before? i took my bike to the shop to have my oil changed and rad. water changed. the shop guy said that the bike was at idel and it died, he tried starting it and it would not do nothing. he changed the fuse and it started. i was woundering do they blow alot.

Please tell me that they didn't try to charge you to fix the fuse! I've not heard of this problem befor with the DS, but have heard of dealers pulling things like this.
It could have been a freak spike in the electrical system, and nothing to worry about. It could have been caused by something the shop did. [i.e.-leave the key on with the headlight on and the motor off, then blow the fuse jump starting it.] Regardless, they should not charge for the repair, and you shouldn't worry about it. Besides, the tool kit contains a couple of spare fuses, just in case.
